- Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, allowing the sauce to thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
You can substitute the chicken with shrimp or vegetables for a different variation.
