- In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. If using, add minced ginger for extra flavor.
- In a large bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- If using, add broccoli florets to the skillet during the last few minutes of cooking to steam them slightly.
- Serve the honey garlic chicken bites over a bed of cooked brown rice, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the marinade.
