Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, uncooked egg noodles, frozen mixed vegetables, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can substitute the ground beef with turkey for a lighter option.
